Equinox : New Gallery/Old Work

I'm spring cleaning in my studio today, going through all the forgotten bins and drawers of materials, organizing what to keep and what to let go. It's a complicated process, and a bit grueling at times, but it unlocks the stagnant energy so I can make new art. It also forces me to look at old work and evaluate it. I haven't painted in a long time, but I decided to start putting up all the older pieces I have lying around. Many of them haven't been viewed much I think. They need to find their way out of my studio.

Baba Jaga Puppet

Baba Jaga is a witch from Slavic folk tales. She lives deep in the forest in a hut that sits on giant chicken legs. She can be frightening and dangerous and a powerful protector. This Baba Jaga is a rod operated puppet and will be available for sale at booth #109 at The Oregon Country Fair in July.
